Boo Boo Balm is a soothing, all-purpose salve for use on most minor skin irritations. Apply to minor cuts, scrapes, burns, bug bite, rashes or irritated skin. Helpful for eczema & other allergic skin conditions.
Carefully selected organic herbs are infused in organic extra-virgin olive oil to extract the properties of the whole plant. The infusion is strained & turned into a salve with the addition of beeswax. Lavender & tea tree essential oils are added for their additional healing properties. We add vitamin E as a natural preservative to keep the oils fresh & potent.
Organic Ingredients: Extra-virgin olive oil, calendula, plantain, chickweed, comfrey, St. Johnswort, witch hazel leaf, beeswax, essential oils of lavender & tea tree, and vitamin E.
- Calendula: “marigolds”; a gentle, soothing herb with antiseptic, anti-fungal & anti-inflammatory properties
- Plantain leaf: cooling herb used to treat burns, wounds, bites, blisters, rashes & irritation
- Chickweed: cooling herb used for skin irritation, inflammation, sores & abscesses; helpful for eczema & psoriasis
- Comfrey leaf: emollient herb known for its wound healing properties; treats minor cuts, burns, bruises, sprains; high concentration of Allantoin which promotes growth of connective tissue, bone, & cartilage
- St. Johnswort: highly effective anti-inflammatory herb that eases skin trauma; soothes irritated muscle & tendons
- Witch hazel leaf: astringent, disinfectant pain reliever; cleanses & helps to stop bleeding
- Beeswax: natural humectant (helps skin retain moisture), anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial. protective, natural thickener & emulsifier with a mild honey scent; encourages healing, high in vitamin A which aids in cell turnover & stimulates collagen: good for eczema, acne, dry or sensitive skin
- Lavender essential oil: the most versatile & safe essential oil; the aroma is calming, soothing, balancing, relieves tension, depression & insomnia; topically, it is known to be antiseptic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antibiotic, fungicidal, insecticidal; used for cleansing wounds, burns, injuries, muscle pain, acne, scars
- Tea Tree essential oil: germicidal, antiviral, antibacterial, penetrating & protective; known to prevent radiation burns, useful for cold sores, acne, fungal infections, warts
- Vitamin E: natural anti-oxidant & essential vitamin; acts as a natural preservative, extends the shelf life of other oils; helps to release free radicals from the skin
